Eligibility Criteria
The institute offers programs in teacher education, and candidates must meet specific eligibility requirements to ensure academic preparedness and competence.
1. For B.Ed. Program
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
Minimum aggregate marks: 50% for general category; 45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Candidates with relevant teacher training or educational experience are preferred.
Final selection is subject to merit, entrance examination (if applicable), and interview.
2. For D.El.Ed. Program
- Candidates must have completed Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks for general category and 45% for reserved categories.
- Candidates from all streams (Arts, Science, Commerce) are eligible.
- Preference may be given to candidates with prior experience in teaching or community service.
3. General Requirements
- Candidates must meet the age criteria as per state or national guidelines.
- Applicants must provide original certificates, mark sheets, and identification during admission.
- Satisfying eligibility does not guarantee admission; selection is based on merit, counseling, and seat availability.
